Today we take Hadley to Children's Mercy to start the process for her surgery. We have hours of tests today. She will have blood work and a new ekg and echo. We will meet the surgeon and find out our surgery time for tomorrow.
When they did her heart cath a few weeks ago they took blood to check for a genetic reason for her heart defect. Averi has a heart murmur and although it's never been a problem when half of your children have something wrong with their heart they start to question genetics. We got the results and there is nothing genetic. This means we don't need to worry about Kinley and Kaden or our future grandkids. Her heart defect "just happened."
I know many of you like specific prayer requests so...
please pray: For a quiet and content baby during all those tests when you need to be still.
Our tire will stay aired up. It was low this morning and we just aired it up Monday night.
Good peaceful rest tonight as we prepare for surgery tomorrow.
praise: Hadley has increased her bottles to 5 ounces. Eating doesn't seem to wear out this baby like
they predicted!
