Today we did something that is every parent's worst nightmare
and we survivied. Our God is holding us so close right now. We
don't understand why our Hadley's life had to be so short but God
has not forsaken us, he has held us closer than ever over the last
week and really since Hadley's birth. This is the song that we
had sung at Hadley's funeral today. We heard it and knew it was
perfect for today.

The song was so perfect! Hadley's service was beautiful!
Hanni,
Thank you for posting this video.
I listened to this song alot after Jason pasted and way and still do. It helped me to understand the difference between being bitter and accepting God's comfort and knowing that He understands. So many people in this life have to go through this without the Lord to help them through it and it is so sad. I love you all and thought about you yesterday and cried remembering how hard it was to bury a child. It's just not suppose to be that way. Please keep listening to great songs like these. Homesick by Mercy Me, "Praise you in the Storm", by Casting Crowns, "Cry Out to Jesus" by Third Day, "He's My Son" by Mark Schultz, "Save a Place for Me", Matthew West and many more. They sustained me as well as many good books from Lifeway Christian Store. I spent many hours in that store. I love you and pray for you.
...praising God for his great love for us and thanking Him for answering our prayers in holding you all and comforting you with the perfect comfort only He can give. You are never far from our thoughts or prayers. We love you so much.
Brent and Hanni-
The tears are still rolling down my face. We just had our fourth recently and as I look at the pictures of your children with baby Hadley it tears me apart to imagine what they must be feeling, missing that sweet baby girl. Lifting you in prayers.

This is another song that makes me think of your family......
Better Than A Hallelujah
God loves a lullaby
In a mothers tears in the dead of night
Better than a Hallelujah sometimes.......
We pour out our miseries
God just hears a melody
Beautiful the mess we are
The honest cries of breaking hearts
Are better than a Hallelujah......
We all love you so much, we know God will care and watch over each of you.....

I looked this song up today because it hit so close to home. It was beautiful. And yes, you survive. Changed, different, never the same, but you survive. The sermon was amazing--I kept giving thanks to God for giving you such a wonderful pastor. May He continue to grant you hope, peace and healing. We love you all.

You are amazing, Hanni. I hate that you had to go through today. But I love that you are being a witness to so many... sharing how God is carrying you through this. Love you.
What can I say that I haven't already? My heart is still aching for you, and I don't think I will ever view life or our friendship in the same way. There are going to be so many sad days, but God will use them to refine us like gold. I will always be here for you, praising God for the friend he gave me so many years ago for just a time like this. Love you always. -Y
This song seems like it was made for Hadley.
